Preparing the cottage for rental has been a labor of love for us. We have owned Pine Cottage since 1994, and we have had our local carpenter update it every year. We have rebuilt every room and the exterior from the roof to the garage. Last year's project was to build a new deck.

 

We have been fortunate that most of our guests have returned for years. Most of them are teachers, who found us through the Massachusetts Teachers’ Association. Our guests have taken great care of our home, and many have become our good friends.

 

The cottage has three bedrooms, two baths, a granite kitchen, an entry dining room and family room; it also has wifi, air-conditioning, Casablanca fans, and Anderson windows displaying an impressive view, a landscaped deck, and an outside shower, all nestled into the side of a hill that slopes down to the sandy beach of Mill Pond.  

 

Upon your arrival, you will find everything waiting for you. The cabinets will be stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, pots, and pans, cleaning and laundry supplies. From the dishwasher to the coffee pot, the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing and serving meals. You will need to bring only your food and your linens.
